Financial Accounting.
- набор и типы потоков до обработки;
- суммы, даты, валюты и статусы после расчёта;
- область оценки и применённые рыночные данные;
- проведённые документы FI и их ledger/компанию;
Cash Management#
В SAP Help для SAP S/4HANA On-Premise описана интеграция Cash Management-relevant потоков TRM в One Exposure from Operations.

TRM: financial transaction lifecycle#
In Transaction Manager, a deal is not a single posting. It is an object with conditions and events from which the system generates cash flows for further processing. SAP S/4HANA On-Premise 2025 FPS01 documentation describes transaction flows such as nominal amounts, interest, repayments, accruals, and valuation results. Cash flows support calculations, payments, Cash Management updates, and the transfer of relevant data to Financial Accounting.
Treat the end-to-end process as steps with control points: transaction conditions; calculated flows; event processing and valuation; position update; transfer of posting-relevant flows to FI; and reconciliation. Exact steps depend on product type, configuration, and release. This is a process model, not configuration guidance for a specific product or customer system.
1. Transaction and contractual conditions#
Before creating a transaction, the required business partners and roles, transaction authorization, product type, and organizational settings must be defined. The selected type determines applicable parameters such as nominal amount and currency, dates, interest or price conditions, payment schedule, and capital changes. Not every field applies to every product.
Check compatibility, not only completeness: a start date must fit the contractual period; rate and calendar must match the conditions; and the flow currency must have a clear meaning. A blank field may be valid for one product type and critical for another.
2. Cash flow generation#
A cash flow contains transaction flows in chronological order and by flow type. Some records are entered manually; others are generated from conditions, derived by the system, or created for accrual/deferral or valuation. For calculated flows, retain not only amount and payment date but also calculation basis, period, currency, flow type, and status.
Check calculations line by line: source condition, interval, calendar and rate applied, rounding, and payment date. A total-only reconciliation will not reveal a wrong date or two compensating flows. Verify day-count and calendar rules for the applicable product and version; a separate arithmetic model does not prove SAP results.
3. Changes, valuation, and position#
A transaction change may require updating flows and repeating dependent calculations. Preserve the link between original conditions, change event, and recalculated results. For valuation, separately record key date, market data and source, currency, and valuation area. A valuation flow should be distinguished from a contractual payment.
Positions and movements help explain how the initial nominal amount changes through later events. Check that repeated processing does not create duplicate movements and that a cancellation or correction reflects the correct business reason. This requires validation in the target system and cannot be inferred from cash-flow arithmetic alone.
4. Transfer to FI and reconciliation#
Posting-relevant flows and account determination rules are used to transfer data to FI. SAP describes using flow types, transaction data, and flexible account determination to prepare documents. The existence of a calculated cash flow does not mean it has been posted or that the right account was selected.
Reconcile separately:
- flow set and types before processing;
- amounts, dates, currencies, and statuses after calculation;
- valuation area and market data applied;
- FI documents posted and their ledger/company;
- Cash Management flows and agreement with actual payment.
Retain the transaction ID, product type, event, calculation date, input-condition version, flow result, and FI document reference for diagnosis. Do not combine forecast flow, actual payment, valuation change, and accounting posting: they are different states and representations.
5. Transfer of forecast flows to Cash Management#
SAP Help for SAP S/4HANA On-Premise describes integration of TRM cash-management-relevant flows into One Exposure from Operations. This requires the TRM source to be active for the company code and existing data to be initialized. Planning level, planning group, bank account ID, and liquidity item are derived from configured rules; the forecast date and amount are based on the transaction payment date and amount.
This documents a system path; it does not prove the path is active in a particular installation. For one transaction, link the TRM business transaction/flow reference to the One Exposure record and compare company, account, date, currency, amount, classification fields, and certainty level. A change in contract terms may change a future flow, but the local integration and payment processing were not run here.
